Operation Christmas Child Maelor School Support
(Posted on 03/12/14)Pupils at the school took part in Operation Christmas Child again this year. They filled shoeboxes with all sorts of practical and fun gifts which this year are going to needy children in Romania. Operation Christmas Child is run by the Samaritan's Purse. Thank you to all who supported the charity.

ALADDIN Christmas Panto
(Posted on 26/11/14)The Maelor Sixth are again putting on one of the school highlights of the year. Their all singing, all dancing pantomime Aladdin will be performed on Monday 15th, Tuesday 16th and Wednesday 17th of December 2014. Tickets will be on sale from MONDAY 1 DECEMBER in the main reception. £6.00 for adults and £3.50 for children. The Great Maelor Duck Race
(Posted on 07/10/14)The Maelor School PTA are holding a Duck Race on 16 May 2015 at Nant Mill. They are asking parents, family and friends of the school to support the school by buying a 'Racing Ready Duck' for only £2!! If you would like to support this event then please contact any PTA member, drop into Reception or contact Mrs Audrey Stewart at the school on 01948 830291. All proceeds go towards the school.

*** NEW Community Hockey Club ***
(Posted on 07/10/14)There is a new indoor Hockey Club at the Maelor School which is in the sports hall on a Monday 3,30pm to 4.30pm for Maelor School pupils and 4.45pm to 5.45pm for Primary School pupils. Anyone can attend and join in the fun - no experience needed! Just come along in PE kit and non-marking sports footwear and meet Scott the coach. £1.50/session ONLY
