Year 10: English Language and Literature  

Continue to prepare for your English Language presentation.

1:  

Research your topic. Using the internet find the pros/cons of your topic. Aim to find at least one case study to help support your talk. Can you find any statistics which would help to support your views?  

2:  

Write your introduction. Using the slides on classroom, choose how you want to start your talk.  

 

3:  

Write your main arguments using the TEACHER structure in the powerpoint on classroom.

 

Year 11 English Literature and Language:  

  1. A Level Lit preparation: 

Set text: Jane Eyre (Available free online)  

Week 1: Download Jane Eyre (Kindle/Ereader app on tablet/ipad or phone) and read chapters 1-5. When reading, write a short summary of each chapter and start keeping a note of key characters.
