Fantastic A Level results
(Posted on 15/08/13)Staff and students at The Maelor School in Penley were delighted with another year of excellent 'A' level results.
96% of students achieved at least 2 'A' levels. 76% of A levels were awarded A*-C.
Speaking on behalf of all the staff at the school headteacher Simon Ellis commented "These results reflect the years of hard work and effort that the students have put in. We are delighted that so many of our students will now be able to move to their university of choice or begin in their chosen careers we all wish them well for their future."
Head of Sixth Form Mrs Sue England said "This group of students have been very positive and motivated throughout their time in the school, many of them have volunteered to help their community and taken part in a range of extra activities in addition to their studies. I am so pleased them for them all"
