The Maelor School is proud to offer a range of high-quality facilities for hire in the heart of the local community. Conveniently located in Penley, our facilities support sports clubs, fitness providers, community groups, businesses, educational activities and events. Our Community Hub Vision
We are developing a vibrant community hub that brings together sport, recreation, wellbeing, learning and community activities. Our aim is to provide affordable, accessible facilities that encourage healthy lifestyles, community engagement and opportunities for people of all ages. We welcome clubs, organisations, coaches, instructors and businesses to become part of our growing community programme.

Situated in Penley, The Maelor School is easily accessible from across Wrexham, Cheshire and Shropshire. With ample on-site parking and accessible facilities, our site provides a convenient and welcoming venue for visitors from across the region.
Indoor Swimming Pool
Our 20-metre, four-lane indoor swimming pool offers an excellent facility for swimming lessons, club sessions, fitness programmes and wellbeing activities. The pool benefits from dedicated changing facilities, easy access and high standards of maintenance and safety management.

Sunday 8 November | 2:00pm - 3:00pm
During Your Visit You Will Have the Opportunity To:

- Discuss your activity, club, event or community initiative
- Explore which spaces may best suit your requirements
- Discuss preferred days, times and availability

We are currently inviting Expressions of Interest from individuals, clubs, organisations and community groups looking to hire our facilities.
Submitting an Expression of Interest:
- Does not commit you to making a booking
- Does not guarantee a particular facility, date or timeslot
- Simply helps us understand local demand and plan future provision
