
Outstanding GCSE Results at The Maelor School, Penley

The Maelor School, Penley is celebrating another year of impressive GCSE results, with students achieving excellent outcomes across a wide range of subjects. The dedication of staff, the hard work of pupils, and the support of families have combined to deliver one of the school’s most successful results days in recent years.
Headteacher Mrs Leanne Eyre said: "I am incredibly proud of our pupils and the results they have achieved this year. Their resilience, determination, and commitment to learning have truly paid off, and these results reflect both their talent and their hard work. I would also like to thank our staff, who have gone above and beyond to support and inspire our learners. We look forward to seeing our young people continue to flourish in the next stage of their education."
Across the board, students have excelled, with many achieving the highest grades and securing strong foundations for their future studies. Notable top performances come from William Ye, who achieved A* across all subjects and a Distinction in Additional Maths, Jessica Rowley, who achieved A*, 2A and a Distinction in Additional Maths, Sophie Hughes with 6A*, 3A and a Distinction in Additional Maths, Kai Benson who achieved 6A* and 3A, Seren Cubley who achieved A* and 4A.
