Fantastic GCSE Results

(Posted on 23/08/12)Pupils at The Maelor School, Penley, were celebrating as they received their GCSE results this year.  For the second year running more than 90% of pupils achieved five A*-C grades.  Headteacher Mr Simon Ellis said "These results are superb, for 93% of our pupils to get five or more GCSE grades at A*-C is a remarkable achievement.  I am pleased that our pupils have been rewarded for their hard work and I am glad that many of them will be continuing at the school to study their A Levels."
