The sixth form operates a charity council, which runs all charity events in the school from organising non-school uniform days for various charities to the organisation of the charity fair in the summer term. All members of the sixth form are encouraged to get involved with charitable activities to further their advancement as young adults.
Every year, on the Friday of the penultimate week of summer term, the school prepares for a grand charity fair all around the school. Every form group arranges stalls and sideshows for everyone to enjoy. The Sixth form have coordinated the whole event which raises hundreds of pounds each year.
This year the school council and the sixth form helped to collect money for a number of charities including the Comic Relief, Make Poverty History and Cystic Fibrosis.
A group of sixth form girls took part in the Wrexham 'Race For Life' in the summer and they managed to raise over £2000!
Every member of the sixth form take part in the school community service programme. Whether they are working in the library, coaching on the rugby field or helping younger students with their reading, they help to contribute to the life of the school by being involved.
