School Uniform

The new school uniform

Shoes

Black low heeled (for boys and girls). Platform/High heels are not permitted as they present a safety hazard. No trainers/trainer boots.

Socks

Plain white, black, grey or navy. Girls may wear navy tights.

Outdoor Coat

A plain anorak or outdoor coat or jacket is required .

Denim jackets, hooded sweatshirts, padded shirts, army camouflage jackets, leather and leather type jackets are not allowed, nor are studs, pictures, slogans, decorations or badges which might give offence.

Jewellery/Make-up

Both of these are considered unsuitable for school.

Those pupils who have had their ears pierced may wear one small stud in each ear. Hair bands, slides and ribbons should be navy or black to match the school colours.

Extremes of hair colour or style are not permitted.

Games Kit

Girls

• White collared t-shirt (polo shirt)
• Navy games skirt pleated
• Navy cover shorts for wearing under skirt
• Long football socks - light blue
• Football/Hockey boots
• School sweatshirt (available from P.E. department)
• Optional: Navy jogging bottoms, hockey stick

Boys

• Light blue football jersey
• Black shorts
• Light blue football socks
• Football boots
• Optional: School sweatshirt (available from P.E.), navy jogging bottoms, hockey stick.

Gym Kit

• Girls - Navy shorts, white t-shirt, trainers, towel.
• Boys - White shorts, white t-shirt, trainers, towel.

Swimming Kit

• Girls - One piece bathing costume, bathing cap (compulsory), towel.
• Boys - Swimming trunks, towel.

All pupils must possess a craft overall and cookery apron.
