Recycling Policy

The Maelor School is now part of Wrexham's Healthy Schools scheme. As part of the scheme we will be joining 'Recycle With Michael' from September 2007. Two areas of the school will be recycling their paper, and there will be recycling bins in the canteen to collect plastic bottles and drinks cans.

Once we have established an effective recycling system for these areas, we will be involving the rest of the school. All pupils will be encouraged to think carefully about the importance of recycling and the school council will be monitoring the effectiveness in this area as well as considering further areas for development.
