Houses

The schools house system is based on the old counties of Wales and was introduced two years ago into the school. It has replaced the old system of three houses based on old regions of Wrexham; Maelor, Bromfield and Yale. One form from each year is in each house.

All aspects of school life can gain points for your house, from being in a race on sports day to handing in all your work on time. The form names now take the year and the first and last letter of the house they are in. So Clwyd is CD, Dyfed is DD, Gwynedd is GD, Gwent is GT and Powys is PS.
